2007 Harvest Festival

We opened up the church parking lot to the community for a Harvest Festival on October 31st, 2007.

This event was held October 31, 2007

We opened up the church parking lot to the community for our second annual Harvest Festival on October 31st, 2007. Fun and food were provided and invitations were distributed throughout the Casa neighborhood in an outreach to the surrounding community. Families from the surrounding apartment complexes came with parents, children and grandparents all joining in.

Polaroids were taken, allowing families to take a remembrance of their fun time home with them. Lots of candy was given out and the children bounced themselves silly in the huge bouncers set up at the back of the lot. Hot dogs, chips, popcorn, soda and water were available to assure everyone had food as well as fun. Our experts made (and wore) cotton candy in their attempts to run the cotton candy making machine. Of course we live in Arizona so snow cones were a must.

The Casa Worship team joined in the fun by setting up in front of the office to play and sing. There were many smiles and chances for laughter throughout the evening. Everyone who helped with the event was blessed by the turnout and the joyful experience with our neighbors.

Many parents thanked us for providing a safe event for them to bring their children to.

Lots of kids, food, music, and fun.

Look for us again in 2008!
