Adero Allison Ordination Service

Ordination of Adero C E Allison at Casa de Cristo - September 2006

This event was held September 24, 2006

On September 24, 2006 Adero C E Allison presented herself before the members of Casa for ordination into the ministry.

Pastor Ronnie and Rev. Charlotte lay hands on Adero as Janne watches. Adero grew up in the Baptist church in Detroit Michigan. She received Christ at the age of seven and the baptism of the Holy Spirit in her early twenties. Much of her life has included service to God through music. She began playing the piano for Sunday school and directing the children's choir when she was twelve.

As an adult Adero recognized her call to ministry but was not sure how to get there. In her pursuit of God's will for her life Adero has ministered with worship teams and choirs at Greater Christ Baptist Church, Faith in God Downriver Christian Renewal Center in the Greater Detroit Metropolitan area. She then continued her ministry with Bible teaching, preaching and worship leading at Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship and House of Worship in Medford, Oregon.

In 2001, having completed her graduate education in Human and Organizational Systems Adero became a member of the Sweet Spirit MCC in Salem Oregon. At this point she was able to integrate her ministry to God with her recognition of herself as a same gender loving individual.

In January of 2005 Adero and her life partner Janne Cardwell moved to Arizona where Adero worshiped at Gentle Shepherd MCC before joining Casa de Cristo Evangelical Church. Soon she was active on the worship team and teaching at the Wednesday evening prayer meetings.

Please welcome to the ministry the Rev. Dr. Adero C E Allison.
